What size are the wheels?
The Siskiu D5 comes in 27.5 only, whereas the D6 and D7 come in both 27.5 and 29 inch wheels, (small 27.5 only, medium 27.5 and 29. Large and extra large come in 29 only).
How much travel does this bike have?
Across the entire Siskiu D series range, you can expect 120mm of travel front and rear.
What riding style is this geometry intended for?
The Siskiu D series frames have been designed for "down country" riding which ranges from fire roads, cross country trails to green and some blue rated flow trails.
Are the wheels tubeless ready?
The Siskiu D series comes with tubeless ready rims, all you need to do is buy tubeless tyres, valves, tape and sealant and you're ready to set up your wheels tubeless.
Are the tyres tubeless ready?
No. The Siskiu D series comes with wire bead tyres meaning they are not tubeless ready tyres.
Are tubeless valves and tape provided with the bike?
No. Tubeless tyres, valves, sealant and tape will need to be purchased separately.
What groupset is this bike equipped with?
The D5 comes with a 2x9 drivetrain, D6 with a 1x10 and the D7 a 1x11 speed drivetrain, all groupsets are Shimano.
What brakes is this bike equipped with?
The Siskiu D series all come with Shimano BR-M201 2 piston brakes.
Does this bike come in any other colours?
No, the Siskiu D series come in one colour per model.
Does this bike come with any other specs?
No, The Siskiu D series comes in the spec which we advertise. IMPORTANT: Sometimes factory will change the spec of the bike to something of similar or better quality, usually without any notice, this is to ensure customers are riding bikes instead of waiting for the correctly spec’d component to become available.
How wide are the handlebars?
All Siskiu D series come with standard 780mm wide aluminium handlebars.
What's the stem length?
The Siskiu D series come with 45mm long stems.
Does this bike come equipped with a dropper post and what's the travel?
The Siskiu D5 does not come with a dropper post, whereas the D6 and D7 both come with dropper posts, the small - medium 27.5 bikes come with a 150mm dropper and the medium 29 to extra large bikes come with a 170mm dropper post.
Can I install a dropper post on this bike?
Yes you can install a dropper post on the Siskiu D5, fortunately all the hard work has already been done with the D6 and D7 as they both already come equipped with dropper posts.
What's the bikes' frame material?
The Siskiu D series frames are made out of 6061 hydroformed aluminium. Tough, durable whilst still light-weight.
What's the bikes' wheels’ material and how wide are the rims?
The Siskiu D series wheels are made out of aluminium, the D5 has an internal rim width of 24mm, D6 with 25mm and the D7 with an even wider 29mm internal rim width.
Does this bike come with boost hub spacing?
The Siskiu D5 hub spacing is not boost front and rear, although the D6 and D7 both come with boost rear hubs and non-boost front hubs.
What is the weight of this bike?
The Siskiu D5 in a medium 27.5 weighs 16.7KG, the D6 in the same size comes in at 16.3KG and the D7 in a size large 29 weighs only 15.7KG.
Can I take this bike on downhill trails?
We believe the Siskiu D series is best suited for "down country" riding from fire roads, cross country trails to green and some blue rated flow trails.
Can I take this bike to the bike park?
Yes, you can take any of the Siskiu D series to your local bike park, although just like riders, every bike has its limits so make sure you are riding within your skill set and limits.
What size rotors does this bike come equipped with?
The Siskiu D series all come with a standard 180mm rotor up front and a 160mm rotor on the back, and are all centerlock rotors.
What tyres does this bike come equipped with and what size?
The D5 and D6 wheels come wrapped in the Entity Spiderbait 27.5x2.25 tyres and 29x2.25 (size specific). The D7's wheels come wrapped in Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 27.5 and 29 both 2.25 inches wide.
Does this bike come with pedals?
The D5 comes with nylon flat pedals, whilst the D6 and D7 come with alloy flat pedals.
Can I fit a bottle cage in this frame?
Yes you can fit a bottle cage on all the Siskiu D series bikes.
How do I set the suspension for my height and weight?
We suggest you set up your suspension in accordance with SR Suntour and Rockshox tuning guides for each individual, personal preference also needs to be considered as everyone likes their suspension slightly different from person to person.
Is a shock pump provided with this bike?
No, a shock pump is not provided with any of our bikes, although you can purchase one separately along with your bike.
What tyre pressure should I run?
Tyre pressures are subjective to each individual rider, we suggest you find a suitable tyre pressure best suited to the terrain you commonly ride. The recommended pressure range is printed on the side wall of the bicycle tyres.
