Are the wheels tubeless ready?
The wheelset is ready to go tubeless when you'd like, all you need is some tyres and tubeless kit from our website and you can do the conversion at home.
Are the tyres tubeless ready?
As tubeless tyres are still a new technology and can be a personal preference decision with some people preferring to keep using the tried and tested innertube, this bike will come with traditional innertube specific tyres.
Are tubeless valves and tape provided with the bike?
Not with this bike, but if you're looking to make the switch the wheelsets are able to be upgrades with a kit from some of our aftermarket suppliers on our website

The Shimano Claris 2x8spd gear set offered a wide range of gear sets to tackle any type of ride. Its simplicity and durability also suit the type of bike where you want things to just work
What brakes is this bike equipped with?
Disc brakes have become a must on the modern road bike. Offering strong and reliable braking performance in any condition. When you are flying down your local descent you want to know your brakes are going to pull you up on time.
Does this bike come in any other colours?
Each season there are new colourways offered throughout the range. Unfortunately getting the right colour for you in the spec you are looking for isn't always possible because the colourway is season dependent but there are a couple of options with the model.

The Gestalt range offers a broad range of models to cater for someone looking to have a modern broad gear set for escaping into the wilderness or a stable commuting workhorse with some simple and reliable spec options.
What's the bikes' frame material?
The Gestalt features a butted and formed Series 2 6061 aluminium frame with internal routing, disc brakes, and rack and fender eyelets. Series 3 frames add thru-axles and a tapered headtube.
What's the bikes' fork material?
Most with full carbon forks with only the entry level option coming with an aluminium fork

Double wall aluminium rims for durability and serviceability
Does this bike come with thru axles or QR skewers?
The tried and true quick release system for the wheels on the front and rear means it's a breeze to get wheels off for those unlucky moments when you need to fix a flat tyre.
What is the weight of this bike?
Entry level exploring calls for durability and adaptability so coming in at around 10.6 - 10.9kg means that you can be sure you're getting a well spec'd bike for the purpose while still keeping an eye on the weight.
What's the supplied tyre width?
A multi purpose bike means that the tyres on the Gestalt are not too big at ,700x40c or 700x32c in some models, keeping rolling resistance to a minimum while still keeping the traction available for when you need it.
Does this bike come with pedals?
Yes this bike does come with some commuting specific pedals to get you going but there's always the option to upgrade to a different shape of flat pedal for traction or move to a Clipin style pedal and shoe combination
Can I fit more than one bottle cage in this frame?
This model has a couple of mounts available for a bottle cage or another storage solution. Keeping you hydrated and allowing access to spares if needed. With additional mounts all over the frame and fork to strap on any number of portage accessories
What tyre pressure should I run?
As the tyres are larger in volume to a traditional road bike it's recommended to start softer and work you way up in pressure. So we recommend pressures in the range of 50-60psi.
Does this bike come with a power meter?
No, because these models are usually not suited to customers looking to measure their power, but it is possible to fit any number of power meters to the frame as all the frame standards are pretty "normal" for the industry.
Does this bike come with electronic shifting?
This model does not come with electronic shifting to keep value in mind and serviceability.
Can I use this bike for triathlons?
One of the great things about the triathlon scene is that you can almost ride on any type of bike if you'd like. So yes, this bike will easily be able to do a triathlon.
Can I fit triathlon aero bars to the handlebars?
Not Ideally, but if you are planning on doing some multi discipline riding then a set of clip-on bars would certainly open up the field of riding you can do
Can I set this bike on the trainer?
Yes, although we recommend using a steel rear quick release axle or the axle provided with the trainer you have purchased.
Can I fit mudguards or a rear rack to this bike?
Yes, there's more than enough space to run a full size fender set, although take care with your tyre size to maintain clearance for mud shedding.

No, lights must be purchased separately.
